Fred Baxter, a former NFL tight end with an impressive 11-season career, will deliver a powerful message of resilience, dedication, and community impact at the UCFIC 13th Annual Conference scheduled for April 5, 2025. Selected by the New York Jets in the fifth round of the 1993 NFL Draft, Baxter played college football for the Auburn Tigers before embarking on a successful professional career. He went on to play for the Jets, Chicago Bears, and New England Patriots, capping his NFL journey with a Super Bowl championship as a member of the 2003 Patriots.
Born in Brundidge, Alabama, Baxter’s journey from a small-town athlete to an NFL standout is a testament to the power of perseverance and strong values. Throughout his career, he was known for his athleticism and dedication to teamwork and mentorship both on and off the field.
